Being someone who is straight edge (despite an ocassional joint), mentally stable, and reletively intelligent I am by choice homeless and travelling. I am flattered to hear a name like "Highway Knights." I actually also met that "Hatchet Hitchhiker" Kai and we hung out for a little while in Kelowna, BC. I've met some very intelligent people who choose to be homeless.

Thank you for the work you do. :D

That's awesome man! A few years back I went tree planting with friends that bought some boats. They sailed around the coast of BC and I would love to do something like that someday. I can make my way around US and Canada relatively quick (for someone on foot/bike), so it wouldn't be unfeasable for me to end up in your part of the world at some point, lol (assuming you're located in NA). I'd be so down to chill out and share some stories. I don't know much about boating or living in boats so that would definitely be an enriching experience for me to say the least!

I have multiple smartphones with Android froyo on it and connect to wifi. I rooted and unlocked them as well cause I love messing with the software. I also have a laptop that carry with me everywhere. I love computers and I dabble in programming (RoR, Python and Django, Java, c). I know how and where to connect to get my beloved Internet in various situations.

Usually if I'm in cities it is super easy, small towns aren't too tough if you find a cafe to be in. If I'm in the bush, I'm SoL and just bust out my e-reader filled with all the books I could want. A collection entirely comprised of textbooks about anything I'm interested in from programming to ecology.

It seems to be simple to find the time even if you're on the move. I work seasonal jobs that let me just tent at the location, and so during my less nomadic times I can really dig into some Internet/code/graphic design/reddit. Sometimes I'm off the Internet for weeks, and sometimes I'm on every day for a long time. I like the flow I have; it feels balanced to experience nature as often as I do.

Edit: Just noticed that your question is a month old, sorry for the wait, lol. The app on my phone wasn't telling me about replies for some reason.
