I became a father 7 months ago. When I first heard my girlfriend was pregnant I was pretty sure we should abort the fetus if it was diagnosed with DS. I then saw a heartbeat during the first ultrasound (at 10 weeks) and told my girlfriend that we should keep it no matter what. My son was born without DS but I still feel that way.
