A lot of millionaires are actually pretty good, normal people. Talk to them like a human being and they treat you like one right back. Some you would never know it by looking at them in their t-shirts and jeans. There are some though that are complete assholes and deserve to be treated as such. Money affects people in many different ways. I find that the people who are the most aloof are usually the people who deserve it the least, as in inherited/family money, up & comers, people with less than they claim, etc. Dude, your band had one hit song and you're opening for someone else. Chill out, we don't care who you are just get out of the way so we can get on with our lives.

Rich people buy jets. Jets need pilots = jobs for slightly less rich. Jets need services = jobs for considerably less rich. Jobs for considerably less rich = Marginally less poor guy. Marginally less poor guy = dinner tonight.

The craziest thing I tend to see are the people who get off of massive aircraft, all alone except the crew.

This always amuses me. Why do you need a Global Express for yourself?

On a side note, a band came into our FBO in two separate G550s just because they don't like each other. I think it was the Eagles. I don't remember, it was awhile ago.

There are certain people who always travel with... girls of a certain persuasion... It's pretty rare at my airfield but those who do, we know. It's always the same people and they are 99% of the time scummy, creepy, ugly old men. Especially that one old perv with "jungle fever". Creep.

I understand the desire to take care of his aircraft. I also understand that it is a really big investment of his own money. There is nothing wrong with wanting it taken care of. In fact there have been many people who worry about their aircraft that require the special attention that I have no problem with. The people I'm complaining about are the ones who thinks the world owes them something because they have something nice. Just because they spent a bunch of money, does not mean that everything is now free. Although we need to understand that a lot is in that aircraft, they also need to understand that it is literally my job to make sure that aircraft leaves in the same or better condition than it arrived. These guys tend to be the ones who expect everything for free, and demand special treatment. When you do go out of your way while doing something outside of your job description and bending over backward just to try and make their stay exceptional, they are the first ones to complain that the chocks are the wrong color and don't tip even though you just spent your own money out of pocket because you tried to make them happy even though you already knew it was futile.

<rant>Fuck you that one Cirrus guy in particular. Fuck you so hard. You are not a special little snowflake. It is not the first SR22 I've seen in my life. You aren't even the first one today.</rant>
