That's good to know, I'm 21 so I wonder if they'll put me on those as well. I take opiates too because I have EDS, a connective tissue genetic disorder that causes a lot of pain. Mine also get worse when I am more active during the day. (Which is really not much activity because I can't do a whole lot)

I pounded my legs into the mattress too! I also had really bad "growing pains" in my legs. To this day I still slap or punch my legs when they get really bad, anything to distract from it!

I have severe restless leg syndrome too, I sleep with 3 hot bean bags on my feet at night just so I can maybe fall asleep. I had no idea it is linked to Parkinson's! How old are you and when did they put you on preventative meds?
