I understand that its a fairly common name, but how do you feel about the irony of sharing the name of the prophet.

I stopped using Microsoft for personal instant messaging when Messenger was discontinued.

I tried Skype, but seemed to be unable to handle sending and then effectively delivering a message if the receiver is offline at the moment it was sent. Sending a message "now" and then going offline expecting the other person receives it when they go online is a primary use case for me.

We use Lync at work and it seems to also have similar difficulties with offline; why would anyone who has had these sort of issues want to re-consider Skype?
