Oh shit, your last sentence might have just sold me on the game. DCSS is incredible. Sometimes, though, I want to play something a little more fast paced that rewards play rather than just strategic planning (which DCSS can feel like from time to time).

Compared to DCSS, how deep is the game? DCSS has tons of stuff to do in endgame and extended runes. In Ruin of the Reckless, is level progression the same every time?

You should put that in your tight five. Solid joke bro.

Like on a weight machine or in the kissing room? Probably in the kissing room.

Quite honestly, that podcast was top of the heap. I shan't be deleting it from my iPod anytime soon, and I've already listened to it about 5-6 times. The Patrick McMahon podcast is close, but every beat of the August Lindt podcast is perfect.

Completely agree. Every episode is gold, but some of that gold coats diamonds. It's like deciding what child you like best; it's not nice to think about, but everyone has a favorite.

The characterization in both the McMahon and Lindt episodes was also awesome. Everybody had their bit, stuck to it, and each character was funny in their own way. Besser's Pope, Lindt, Geiger, and Herzog were all characters that had been well developed by the people performing them, and it just seemed to click so well. Same with the McMahon episode; everyone had their part to play, and did a great job the whole way through (though I almost wish we had gotten more Seamus). Even Scott's abomination of a incredible Irish accent fits into that show perfectly.

They should scrap the CBB "Best Of" this year and just replace it with ADPPP episodes.
