The wheel of mobile game dev:

1. "Android users don't pay for games, so we'll focus all our effort and budget on iOS"
2. Wait 6-24 months, give plenty of time for other developers to get your idea going on Android.
3. Release game on Android with little fanfare or support.
4. "See, I told you nobody pays for games on Android!"

And consumer choice! You get to choose whether to put your money in my left hand or my right hand!
