The whole pizza hut ad scandal... Whose idea was that and what did Pizza Hut do that pissed you guys off so much?

I heard (albeit from a friend) that Ween was commissioned by Pizza Hut, wrote the first version of the song, submitted it, was told it didn't meet Pizza Huts expectations and were given a second chance to write a new jingle . Ween thought the song was genius and didn't feel a new version was necessary, so they added the swearing and submitted that version as a "fuck you".

Also, scandal was probably a poor way for me to describe it in my question.
