This is very very interesting. It seems they currently use Linux to implement their systems, but for such a delicate and scrutinized operation they might be interested in exploring a seL4 microkernel-based deployment for truly secure electronic voting. I will read more into this, it seems like they're doing some pretty cool stuff.
