I remember those!! (There, I've dated myself.) We were a family of four kids and we all loved those. We all played them. My baby brother introduced me to Myst, lost interest himself (he's not a gamer of any kind) and had no idea he had hooked me for good in these amazing worlds. They're as real to me in my head as anyplace I've ever gone. I know every footstep and plant in some areas. Thanks so much!

Huge fan of the Myst series and of your work! I'd never seen a game like that before and haven't really seen another one since.

What courses/programming languages should students take to work at Cyan specifically or at a gaming company in general? Assuming the student is already a computer science major. What languages should students be studying to be really good game programmers?

I understand that your involvement in the TV show, as the book writers, is more extensive than usual. How did this arrangement come about, and why does it work for The Expanse TV show?
