My suggestion would be to hook up an LED to the Arduino and have it turn on/off when something happens. You can start with just having it blink on a timer, but try to control it with a button, or temperature, or light sensor.

Having that basic sense/control loop working and knowing that you did it yourself, is a pretty great feeling.

Any idea when season 2 will make it to Netflix?

Or when the Syfy channel will let people watch on their web site?

Have you told your son that you call him "Bratlet" on twitter? When is a good age to break that kind of news to a child? Or are you hoping the internet just goes away before he's old enough to find out on his own? (tongue firmly in cheek)

Do you think up creative names for your burrito combinations? Or is it just "Burrito with cheetos and candy canes"?

E.g. I eat burritos with taco fillings and call it a Burraco. Yes, very boring, I know.
