Hey Macs! I am a moderator/close personal friend of Edward (handicapdgaming.com | twitch.tv/new/flarinus), a quadriplegic gamer, it's great to see you doing an AMA, and bringing the spotlight to gamers with disability!

My question: Given the situation many disabled gamers find themselves in, what advice would you give to those who are having difficulty adapting to gaming w/a disability?

I just had both of my BP's pass from an RI in the span of the past 3 months. RI's are nothing to fuck with. I am sorry for you loss.

I was with my friend when he became paralyzed (technical quad, although he still can use his biceps) around 6 years ago. He suffered a complete SCI on his C5/C6. I work for him now as a caregiver. What can I do to make things as smooth as possible for him? Or, rather, what personal pet peeves do you have that he might as well?
