I meant, try asking your question there. But since you asked, try freeing up some disk space on your phone by deleting apps; I've seen iPhones / iPads act funny when stuffed to the gills. Beyond that, you may need to just wipe & restore.

As the author of my much-loved copy of "The Great Macintosh Easter Egg Hunt", I ask you: whatever happened to easter eggs? Was it Apple clamping down on them after Jobs returned, setting a trend for other companies? Or has software become so transient—almost disposable—that programmers seldom bother putting them in? Or maybe there's still plenty of them out there, never to be discovered because we're all on reddit instead. Thoughts?

Makes sense, I suppose. Too bad about that; they were a way for the individuality of the programmers to show through the sometimes sterile interfaces of the programs they were writing.

(And then there's hardware eggs, such as this one I discovered on the Quadra 950, which are essentially extinct thanks to the six-month hardware cycle you mentioned earlier.)
