I have been to the Tumen River- the Chinese side of it - looking into North Korea. (I spent a summer in Hunchun China) All I can say is you are incredibly brave and I am so happy you are now a South Korean and I hope you can get your daughter back. Thank you for speaking out and telling us about this NGO! I am VERY interested in learning more about how I can help this organization

I was a Girl Scout for all of my childhood and camping was my favorite part. We have summer camps too. It seriously shaped who I became. Sounds like your troop leader just wasn’t great. :/

I grew up there too and my brother recently told me I needed to listen to it! Is the entirety of it on npr.org? I think it takes place one county over from where my folks live

Hi Kelly! Fellow Alabamian here, although now I live in Tennessee, I grew up partially in Montgomery and partially in rural Hale County! My question is: do you have any specific stories from Hale County? My folks are still there and I love to go back for weekends here and there.
