I think it's more that someone is a click away from seeing their mother with two penises inside her vagina at once.

Do you think Martians will be there and do they steal the ships? My dad said that a ship went missing in the 80s that was martians

Wow. Thanks for the in depth response Bob. I will look into it further, and of course trust your judgement.

Maybe the problem is people expecting to be able to seamlessly shuffle between different styles of music. I wouldn't expect to be able to watch Shlindlers List and immediately watch Muppets in Space afterwards.

I'd hate for the album listening experience to be hindered by people who want to be babysat.

I might be missing the point but here goes.

Why do you want to level the playing field between genres? How would this benefit educated consumers? And not just people who expect to listen to Skrillex followed by Jack Johnson and not have to touch their volume knob?

I don't quite understand how this benefits the consumers if it is a new mandatory standard. Artists should be able to release tracks across an album without any normalization at all. Tonal changes in both peak and rms loudness between tracks is an artistic choice that shouldn't be compromised for the sake of easy listening.
