If I'm not mistaken, the problem with excess skin on overweight people following weight loss is not because they haven't tried to fill it out. Skin is elastic and can only be stretched so much so many times. When you're severely overweight your skin stretches until it loses just about all it's elasticity. That's how you get stretch marks. Your skin stretches to the point where it can't stretch anymore but your body "forces" it to stretch. There are things you can do, but the easiest thing is to make sure you don't lose weight too quickly. Your skin, which is an organ, won't have enough time to adapt to your body as it's changing. Your skin will eventually reshape to fit your body after you lose weight, but it still may never look "natural."

When I was in Afghanistan we went though a few translators and only had one permanent one the entire time. In my experience, the US lures these translators with news of job prospects & good money while also filling their head with delusions of obtaining a US Visa, when in truth, they'll most likely never step foot in the US.

Our permanent translator worked literally as hard as the troops and laid his life on the line every day, not just with the convoy but every time he went home on break as well. Militants don't take too kindly to people in their neighborhood working as translators. He has shown his loyalty time and time again and deserves to be welcomed to America.

Instead, the US keeps jerking him off and rejecting his Visa applications. He's been trying for going on 5 years now (he had been a translator for a few years before my deployment).

Just to give a glimpse into how loyal & willing to lay down his life for his friends he was, I'll tell a quick story.

We were just about out of a danger zone on a mission and came under heavy RPG, heavy machine gun & small arms fire. Anyone who deploys knows that regular interpreters aren't allowed to carry weapons. So, partly as a joke, our interpreter carried around a sling shot everywhere he went. So, in the heat of the battle, when everyone was taking cover, our terp leaps out of the truck and starts slinging rocks at the enemy from his sling shot.

Yet he's not worthy enough to be an American.

What do you expect her to do though? She has a husband and a young child, do we expect her to really live in a shack somewhere? She was also likely paid very well by HBO, including at this moment because they were already filming her.

Much of her money was likely made long before she ever even knew of DOS and simply didn't know the depravity of Keith. Also keep in mind that her husband was also a high ranking member who brought in money from Nxivm as well. No mention of him.
