I haven't worked with males, I have thought about getting a PRN job in a male facility just to see the difference. I have been told by several people who work with both that women are definitely more difficult to handle because they have more attention seeking behaviors and more attitude. However, men can be more dangerous because they are more physically violent. As one corrections nurse to another, the work we do does deserve respect, because it is not easy!

Interesting, as a women it's more of a whole body thing - like a whole body flushing and shutter. I think if would be fascinating to experience what the opposite sex feels during an orgasm.

I might wait a couple of months and do one, maybe since I work exclusively with women, people may be interested. I like to talk about my job, it's interesting and I have lots of stories.

I had LASIK almost six years ago and I am now to a point where I have glasses for driving at night. Since I have already had LASIK my only option to correct it again is PRK, I was already worried because they told me it could be more painful and the recovery time is longer. I was not expecting batshit insane pain, is it actual eye pain? Headache pain? Did meds help? How much work did you miss? I read the recovery time to see clearly was 3 weeks even though with LASIK I saw clearly instantly. This sounds pretty shitty.

I am also a prison nurse (at a women's prison), I have always wanted to do an AMA, I guess I didn't jump to it fast enough.
