Love ILB. But I just got to the 5 eyeballed doom boss and I have to ask: why'd you do this to me? So hard.

Seriously though, have loved all of your games. And bought two copies of ILB (one for me, one for the wife). I'll defeat that Snow area boss somehow... I think I need to find a wand that doesn't blow up the terrain...

What made you decide to code your own engine rather than using something like SFML?

What advantages does your engine confer you that it was worth the additional time and effort? Or was it just part of the joy of creating that you wanted to make your own?

I've been programming for 5 years but have not yet made my own engine so wondering about it from that perspective.

When are you going on Real Time w/ Bill Maher again? Always enjoy when you're on the panel.
