So then what are your thoughts on the 737 max's control system? My understanding is that a single sensor if failed would set a bias to maxim with no option of manual override.

My understanding of the whole situation was that the engine was too big for regular retrofitting, and it changed the cg, so they changed the control system to compensate. But they didnt tell the pilots about any of these changes.

As a US citizen, and someone of Italian decent, I know I can claim Italian citizenship "by blood".

Is that worthwhile? What would the positive and negatives be?

I would like to add on that some professions require certifications, and the certifications or work history in other countries do not always carry across.

I know there are teaching certifications, so that may be an issue.
