What is it like watching a mass bombing like happened in WW2? I've seen close air support, IED, and grenades explode, but never seen a city bombed.

I don't really understand why this is a thing. I work in an industry that requires belts to have product on them at all times. The more product we move=more $$ for the company, yet I've never heard a peep about needing replacement workers for people who have to take a piss/shit.

So my question is-why is this happening? What is so different from poultry production that it requires someone to ALWAYS be on the line?

Did you ever meet Gary Gygax? If you did, is he as nerdy as I picture him?

Thanks for the reply. My grandfather said the bombing of his hometown was cool because he was and is amazed by airplanes (he's the same age) but that his parents were terrified.

When I first read your opening statement, I thought he was in the military in 1938, so that's why I asked the way I did, didn't realize he was a kid.

they don't see cases like this, they see cases where union workers will skate by on the barest minimum requirements of not being fired

Eh, that's the whole point of capitalism: Get the most money with the least amount of work possible. Also, MYOB. I get that people see union workers not working hard, but MYOB.

and sue whenever management has a slip-up

Only if it's something the employer won't come to an agreement on, and it's never against a management-it's suing the whole company. The whole point of a CBA is to keep things internal, and it's why we file grievances instead.
