Carolyn, do you really make $425,000 a year from charity?
One of the main concerns of people with charitable organisations - and my principle concern too - is that there is a feeling that charity is only a secondary, tertiary or worse issue for the organisation.
Some, myself included, think that on the whole they are most probably little more than scams. For instance, aid to Africa. The problem has never changed, but there are charities who have been collecting for well over a century trying to solve it. Over the years, literally trillions of dollars have been given wordwide in an attempt to 'fix' one neverchanging problem. And yet we still see flyers and such of little African kids faces covered in flies, their bellies huge through malnutrition, and they STILL have to walk miles a day just to get some clean water. Knowing that that very problem has, over the years, had enough money thrown at it to turn one of those African nations into the worlds single best nation, something doesn't sit right.
What I'm actually asking is: Can you tell us how much STC pull in per year bottom line and how much they spend per year on the front line of charity? If you do elect to answer my question, I realise that I have allowed you some wriggle room for political weaseling. Please don't take advantage of it. By the front line of charity, I am sure you know exactly what is meant. Thanks in advance.
