Congrats man, you are living the dream. I've been in IT since around 1998 and have a very financially lucrative career as a Sr Contact Center Engineer (specialty is the way to go). I get plenty of company, customer and peer recognition and thanks but lack that fulfillment that I think would come from a more intellectually stimulating environment. My problem is, I make to much money to quit and restart back to 0 especially with a wife and 4 kids. So my question is, how did you afford it? Just good savings or did you sacrifice retirement?
