Unless you really want an Android tablet, the Surface will be better for work since it runs full Windows and is basically a full PC. Like many reviews have said, the Pixel line is about showing just how good a device can be so that other manufacturers strive to reach those standards.

Uninstall real webcam's driver, install a virtual webcam that shows a "STOP SPYING ON ME" image. Or just install Linux on the thing.
