I had a massive heart attack about a year and a half ago at 40 years old. Ended up going into cardiac arrest due to a 99% blockage in my right coronary artery. Luckily I was resuscitated and rushed to receive a stent, and then two more stents the next day.

For me, the warning signs were a terrible chest pain, and a cold sweat. If I had ignored the signs for even 10 more minutes, I’d probably be dead. Listen to your body folks.

Pretty much no red flags. I’m 6’3” and been under 200lbs most of my life. I was around 220 for the three years before my heart attack though. I’ve never smoked in my life. My cholesterol was in the range of what is considered normal. There is almost no history of heart disease in my family. Sure, I could have exercised a lot more, but I’m not an inactive person. And I could have ate a better diet, but there wasn’t anything terrible about it.

Cardiologist’s best guess is that maybe some fucked up genetics as the result of my parents getting together. For some reason, my body is obviously producing a lot of plaque.

This is a pretty shitty AMA. I mean, there's really nothing to ask. I don't understand why this is posted here.
