What do you think about the capabilities of dry EEG systems and their likelihood for being leaders of non invasive techniques? I was lucky enough to be doing my undergrad at a university with a temporary US lecturer (Jason Connoly, 2017) who had access prestigious funding and their new completely dry EEG headsets that required no straps or fixing, it took just a handful of minutes to put on and calibrate. He was using it to aid communication in paralysed individuals and it's what led me to pursue a career in Neuroscience research, and the concept of just how visionary that bit of kit was has kept curious since. He recently published a paper I think you would be interested in and would happily discuss with you https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://arxiv.org/pdf/2007.11544&ved=2ahUKEwiDhqbkhcbtAhWDilwKHWA-DHwQFjADegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw3QHMyqURx52MdQPEPpnXfE

I'm hoping to start my MRes in Neuroscience in August, but I'm still not sure which part of the field interests me most or how to narrow it down. Do you have any tips on that, or generally anything for someone starting their postgraduate research journey? I did my BSc in Psychology.

Or more simply, what are the most impactful articles or findings you have come across on this concept?
