It wouldn't, but in theory you can have a situation where there is no female DNA in the egg and have an XX or XY purely from dad, but that ends in nonviable molar pregnancy anyways.

I interned at Alder Hey in Cardiothoracic. What is your view on paediatric Cardiothoracic surgery in England and the sweeping changes they did two years ago to cut down to 4 centers outside of London and 2 in London? I remember watching the staff as they were tensely waiting for updates on how it was going to be. Thanks for doing this!

Yep. The X has too much important info encoded, you dont get life without it.

Yep, but that's a scenario in which the egg doesnt provide the X, it just doesnt live if that's the case.

Maybe cloning? Not sure how with a donor's egg there empty of genetic material.
