You are easily my favorite Archer character! Thanks for being amazing!

Question: Do you ever look at anything in the script and think "What the fuck?" but then break down laughing.

(Example: "You could drown a toddler in my panties right now")

Are you filtering your comments through your lawyer? I would hate for anything you post here to be taken out of context and used against you later

Read this all the way through, just as I did for your post.

I'll dispense with the "don't do it, not worth it" nonsense because you and I both know that it's fluff and meaningless. You seem to have a similar history and the same depressive episodes that I do, which makes what I'm about to say all the more important. We have a tendency to use a semblance of cold, logical reasoning in order to justify suicide to ourselves. We think, as you said, it "seems like the only option," but in actuality, you're wrong. You're so wrong, and don't even know it yet. In attempting to "justify" suicide for ourselves, we begin at that option and begin to systematically eliminate all other options because we are so fixated and set on this idea of something that will solve all of our problems, but reality dictates that this is flawed, circular logic and actually creates more problems than it solves. Let me back up; you think there is no alternative because you refuse to let yourself see one. In doing so, we gloss over the fact that life continues on, and that becomes the alternative. Friends drift apart, we move, we love, we hate, we make poor choices, and what does it all mean? Well, nothing. And that's the beauty of it. We get the chance to create our lives out of what we are given, which is an experience unique to our species. Currently, you've been dealt a shitty hand. That's undeniable. But you have this golden opportunity to radically change the way you view the world and the way the world views you. You have the chance to forge for yourself the person that you want to be, but you have to work for it. You have to accept yourself, accept your past, and embrace your future, constantly striving towards self-acceptance and personal change where you desire it. To continue with this poker analogy, no player quits after a bad hand. They ante up and get right back in the game. The same goes for your life. You can't decide that life isn't worth it because you're miserable now, in the short=term. Do you know why? Because you will overcome. Because you already have all of the strength, and will, and intellect you need to overcome. Because you are you, and that's the only thing you need to be happy in this world.

Everyone needs a starting point, though. Feel free to PM me if you need anything. Like I said, we have similar depressive inclinations and likely similar triggers, and I would love to help in whatever way that I can. I encourage you to visit a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, as that is most conducive to helping get your thoughts in order and help you see the circular reasoning inherent in depressive states. Lastly, I want you to know that I read your post, thrice, because I care. You remind me of me six months ago, and believe me when I say that I am living prove that you can endure. WE can endure.

Hello! Thanks for doing this AMA! I had read up a little on international nuclear weapons, and I was hoping you could weigh in on these two questions:

Is there any practical deterrent for Tactical Nuclear Weapons (such as the ~90 gravity bombs at the Incirlik Airbase in Turkey) considering that they can take upwards of 12 hours to deploy? If not, do you think they should be removed altogether or be replaced with more modern weapons with much quicker response/launch times?

Secondly, how do you feel about the so-called "Dead Hand" system? This is something that actively terrifies me about nuclear responses, considering the vast quantities of nuclear weapons around the world.

Thank you!

Were you drawn to My Chemical Romance because particularly like that sort of music, or is a gig a gig?
