Are the wolves still endangered? Is the population sustainable for the areas that they are in? I completely agree with protecting species, but an all out ban on hunting certain species isn't the answer.
I don't know specifically about the Gray wolf, but I believe in recent years the wolf population has increased substantially. One side effect of this is that the Elk herds have declined dramatically. Elk hunting is a pretty big tourist business for states like Wyoming. 6 close friends of mine went to Wyoming once and Colorado once this year to go elk hunting, each spending thousands in the local economies. None of them even saw an elk. Park rangers and hunting guides alike are blaming the elk herd reduction on the 'pest' wolf population.

So instead of extruding an even thickness road and laying it on top of an uneven surface, you are pouring/piling the road material and letting it fill the uneven surface and then taking the excess material off the top to create an even road way?
