What school are you going to?

I've bred purebred Nubians for about a decade, and I'm entering UC Davis' school of veterinary medicine this fall. I smiled when I saw this post, because I'm happy to see someone like me! Except on the other side of the country of course :)

Edit: Do you G6S test?

Oh that's terrible that you lost that doe. Like you mentioned, I haven't seen many breeders test all their animals. Some just test their bucks. And that's great that you're trying to get that research done!

Here in California we have a few herds that have Q fever, and Davis has been doing research with them. A vaccine was developed in Australia for the disease, but we haven't been able to get it approved here in the US. I'm hoping to get involved in that research.
