To Mr. Doctorow: Hi Mr. Doctorow, I am "Locke" and I would like to know when your first graphic novel will be released? The one published ,through :01. I forget what it's called - " Alias Game"? It's a play on Ender's Game but obviously nothing on Buggers and has a female character. I just wanted to let you know that Homeland was FANTASTIC, and it felt personal to me. I could easily relate to Marcus, especially since I'll be going off to College soon. But what I loved more than Homeland was Pirate Cinema. PC was so much fun to read because I felt as if I was in London. And I loved it! The whole book was a film in my mind, but in contrast with other books I have read in the past, I felt like I was there watching on the sidelines. Great stuff! When will the sequel to PC be available? I could see on the spine that PC is book 1. :D Also, do you not blog on Craphound anymore? I've noticed you're more on Tumblr now. Sorry I'm all over the place, my text is usually this "jumpy" when I'm mobile.
Edit: I believe information deserves to be free. And people should try and start to care about information. Referencing the NSA spying, Americans should have done more. Online protests can do so much, sometimes old-fashioned protests/riots make louder noise. What's your opinion?

Thanks for replying (although you didn't answer all my questions, I understand)! Sorry, I was mobile so I made a few errors. I meant Tumblr! :-) By the way, I edited my question and included this:
"Edit: I believe information deserves to be free. And people should try and start to care about information. Referencing the NSA spying, Americans should have done more. Online protests can do so much, sometimes old-fashioned protests/riots make louder noise. "
I am very interested in your opinion.

For Doctorow:
I would like to agree with /u/eckozero that if it wasn't for you I would never have cared about privacy the way I do now. Thank you. Enough of that...
I try to get people I know to care about privacy as well, but they do not. They also think I am paranoid for wanting privacy. How can I tell others that privacy is cool? That everyone deserves the right to have privacy online just like they do when they are using the bathroom? Maybe it's just the type of people I know, but most of them could care less. Even a sticker covering my webcam makes me look weird. WWAD?
Edit:* This is for everyone. How do you think the reaction to the NSA leaks were handled? I feel like (speaking specifically on American citizens) did not react much. I expected them to "take to the streets" demand answers, that sort of thing. But nothing of that standard took place and it still saddens me. Do you think American citizens could have been more "involved/active?"

Hi! As someone who lives in the USA: Is net neutrality only important to those in America or should others across the world care about it too? If yes, why should they? Also, how do you think the "politics of the Internet' will change in decades to come? Do you think companies will try this again or just back off because they know they'll loose? Thanks!
Edit: Ms. Palmer, I wanted to say congratulations on your upcoming book! I loved the TED talk so much, can't wait to read it!!
