To be fair, it was a really stupid question. It deserved a really stupid answer

I agree with your decision completely. It's too much for free / unpaid volunteers to be expected to solicit celebrities or other high profile people, to coordinate with them, and all sorts of other things that only bring Reddit positive PR and bonuses. If they want something like that done, they can damn sure either do it themselves, or give you guys a bit of cash to make sure it gets done properly.

Good on you for standing up for yourselves this way!
