That's true, everyone wants peace. Only hardcore Russian nationalists support the war for the sake of land, and many Russians who weigh in never lived there while it was peaceful and never will anyway, so their input is not important to Russian Ukrainians, especially ones forced to flee (I'm pretty sure almost all the displaced Russian fled toward inland Ukraine and did not try to find asylum in Russia)
And thanks for clarifying that, I haven't been keeping up. I guess certain foreign donations helped the Ukrainian army get its shit together.

What do you think about articles like this one which are pessimistic about Ukraine's benefit from joining the EU?

Would you say you approach your reporting with a certain bias towards the Ukrainian nationalist factions that are fighting there? Is it true that most of the fighters on Ukraine's side are non Ukrainian Army-based independent militias? I'm just curious because everyone who is a war reporter usually has a certain proclivity to sympathize with one of the sides of the conflict, and as Russian from Ukraine I would like to know if you find that the separatist fighting is just aggression toward Ukrainian sovereignty, or more like an essentially regional conflict by independent militias.

How economically stable/rewarding has farming been for you? Did you need a lot of startup capital (eg. for buying tactors, land) ?
