You would think that water is an incredibly vital resource though, especially in that part of Africa. More likely it might be that the area around the well is either illegal to build on, or in some area that would either be dangerous or the local town won't allow new people to settle there. Most likely it's that the family simply doesn't have the money to facilitate such a move. It costs a lot to find/build a new dwelling and move everything/everyone. If they're struggling to survive then it's just not a realistic option.

There's also the element of it being an established and recognized brand (as far as pornography goes) that's arguably the most prestigious in it's field (It's like the Polo-Ralph Lauren of porn). Add in the fact that several celebrities have done spreads, the OP has apparently only done topless shoots, and the photography leans kind of towards highly-erotic and artistic nude photography (as opposed to say Penthouse which is straight up hardcore porn), you could see why it's definitely "classier" than the competition. I doubt that doing a shoot for Playboy would "label" someone in the same way that doing a shoot for another pornographic company would.
