In the long-term, this civil insurrection is going to backfire long-run and will result in even in the opposition supporting the socialist party of venezuela because there are much of the opposition who want to live their lives, are disrupted by these constant protests. The opposition was impaled by the election of Hugo Chavez in 1998, and in almost every election they have lost.

Problem is that for the opposition to build support in the poor communites, is not going to work. They've already experienced what was life was in the past in the 4th republic. They do not want to go back. A coup is not going to happen because the military high command supports the socialist party.
