2-7 is basically the opposite of the traditional 5 card draw game.

Instead of trying to make the best hand, you have to make the worst.

You get 5 cards, and you can discard as many as you like up to 3 times and receive new cards, with a round of betting between each draw.

Your aim is to make the lowest possible hand, which is 7-5-4-3-2. Pairs, trips, full houses and flushes are bad, and A-2-3-4-5 is a straight which counts as a high hand.

Very fun game, can be full of bluffing. If my poker history is right, this was originally going to be the game played in the WSOP Main Event when it first started.

In every bookie there is a Chinese man playing Roulette. They seriously love to fucking gamble.

I'm from Redruth in Cornwall and I actually really dislike pasties. Being in the middle of the old mining towns and not liking pasties is almost a criminal offence apparently.

Do you have any pasty recipes that are different from your traditional steak that could make me a pasty convert?

Just chiming in to say my family is from Newlyn and they are big fans of Auntie May's pasties.

Newlyn's a tiny place, it'll be easy to find!

Hi, serious question.

I worked telesales on behalf of Save The Children in the UK a couple of years ago. Why did you guys sign off on a script that was borderline harassment to the people we called?

We were told to ask for varying amounts of cash from people (who were 90% elderly), and were not told to relent until they had either hung up or given a donation of any amount. If they hung up they were put back into the calling rotation in 2 weeks anyway.

Our supervisors told us that this was the way your charity requested your calling be done. Other charities that used our services wanted us to be as soft as possible with the donors, not sales-y or pushy in any way and a no was a no. I am curious to know why it was seen fit to do your fundraising in this way. I understand that tele-fundraising is the most cost effective way of fundraising but it seems that on that campaign almost everyone we called left with a bad taste in their mouths and several workers actually quit because of the guidelines they were forced to follow on behalf of Save The Children.

Thanks!
