This is how I hope I can look at it. To actually be able to sit around and talk with younger people and have them gaze at me saying, "Wow the government you lived with sure was abusive." and "I'm surprised so little was done at first!"

Yet be thankful that they don't have to go through the same thing.

I'm sure so many look at the current state of US politics and think, "Yeah its pretty bad, but its not TERRIBLE" and then compare it to more corrupt places which is the equivalent of killing one person with your car and saying, "Well at least I didn't kill 20 people like that OTHER guy"

And in the future looking back at it and realizing how much corruption, secrecy and abuse went through it.
