Did you find that the tutors provided a level of instruction comperable to actually being in school? I had tutors like you my freshman year. And while they were all great people, they couldn't teach for shit.

In my town, the same tutors also handle the kids that are suspended for long periods of time. So when they had a student that actually wanted to learn, they gave me straight A+. It definitely padded my GPA, but when i had to take the final, I bombed it. Whoops.

Then again, some of my teachers were nasty and didn't try and help me or my tutors whatsoever.
