The US reality shows want constant drama, they want fights, they screaming and shouting.

Kitchen Nightmares is a great example of this, you don't see Gordon raise his voice around a slight stern tone, he's not screaming at them and calling them idiots. But the US one, he's screaming, shouting and almost choking people out.
