New Zealand was recently awarded the #1 spot on the CPI by Transparency.org. What did you personally do in order to diminish corruption in New Zealand to a non-existant level?

The UNDP has been tasked with the MDG and attempting to see their fulfillment. Now, you have two years before the original timeline is past and there is almost nothing to show for it. Do you feel like the MDGs were put in place as a way to bring attention to the issues, or was it a realistic goal at the time to complete as many of these goals as possible within the 20 years?

Concerning the UNDP, what comes after the Millennium Development Goals and what are your thoughts on the goals? Were they realistic to achieve? What obstacles stunted their progress? Should the international community expect MDG 2.0 in the near future?

It should be bold and ambitious... decisions need to be made in 2015.

What kind of decisions should be made? Looking at the failure of the MDGs, it appears that the UNDP is too weak to make an actual difference on a global scale. There has not been one single MDG that has been completed by every country across the globe. Even with the World Bank canceling tens of billions of debt owed by the IMF and the ADB, there does not appear to be any significant progress made.

What would make this next conference any different and what issues to you intend to bring to the floor? How would these goals be accomplished by even the most volatile nations like South Sudan?
