Which do you think is a worse issue for the Met and its image / public respect for it, right now - institutional racism, fatally heavy-handed treatment of innocent people or the criminally improper relationship between Met officers and the tabloid media? How do you respond to people (like me) who feel unable to respect their town's police (as an institution, not any given individual) due to such stories? What work or projects are going on to address these shortcomings and how seriously are they taken by the rank and file?
