I don't think anyone is so naive as to think it will stop. You might have heard of the term "rhetorical question," as in, these questions are raised to make a point or force someone to take and state a position. As you can see by the questions regarding TTIP, it doesn't really work.

He does not scream sociopath. He is an odd man, for sure, and possibly mentally ill, but none of what he says has anything to do with sociopathy, so stop using that term so lightly.
