Complete noob question I'm sure. But when I say "that's scotch" and someone says "well, it's just whiskey made in Scotland"... is that true? What makes a "Scotch" different from say a middle of the road whiskey/bourbon like Woodford Reserve or Blanton's?

Isn't that just semantics (ie: if a tree falls in the forest)? Just because you can't glean the correlation doesn't mean it's not manifesting in real time faster than the speed of light, right? Or am I totally missing something?

There's been a few "The Wizard" questions already but was that movie like everything to you at the time kinda the way Roadhouse was for bouncers? Pretty iconic movie. Did your friends call you "the wizard"?

Or since you were in the 18+ age group, was that movie to childish for you?
