Just want to know how you coped with your frequent MRI / pet scans etc?

I currently have stage 3 brain cancer (my next MRI is tomorrow). I feel like my life gets reset every few months.

I want to know if you may have had a similar feeling? Thanks.

Cheers.

2 questions if you don't mind

  • Has Lego ever contacted you about your work (either to praise or to issue a take down notice!)

  • As an atheist and a person that's read the bible myself, I found that there were some very tedious and long sections, especially the geneology parts. At any point did you just feel like saying 'stuff it'

Hi Paul. With due respect, I think the worst shaky cam I saw was in the Bourne Supremacy. I know this is a subjective taste issue, and of course you are within your rights as a director and artist to do as you please, but damn does it piss me off.

With the limited "found footage" movies such as Cloverfield and Blair Witch, I cannot think of any time where shaky cam has assisted in the movie. It makes the scene hard to see, in some cases actually created motion sickness, and destroys the very aim of the movie, to tell a story in a visual medium.

I know you're not alone in this, so can you just put a note up at the pub that all the directors go to (that's a thing right?) that says "Some dude in Australia wants us to stop doing that shaky cam stuff".

Cheers.

Not to be an Avatar fanboi (which I'm not), the story is a bit weak but the visuals are breathtaking. If you get the chance to see it at a cinema do, but failing that, a really big TV with good quality sound and image. It'll be a pleasure for your new eyes.
