You're right, only witness. And it was the rough side of town. She did the right thing, but the law didn't care about her. She was a poor black woman.

My daughter counsels offenders. You have to be trained to contain your urges, and to focus on appropriate urges. It takes a lot of effort to change the desires that are imprinted by our original sexual experiences.

My daughter runs a program that treats offenders and their families. There is professional help available. Seek it out.

I'll go one better and say it's in no way a deal breaker to some women. I'm an older woman who feels freer now that sex is no longer part of my life. My mom was very conservative about sex (probably similar to Pakistan culture), and sex for me was usually difficult and embarrassing. I don't think your family is being supportive. Maybe you should consider being out on your own. Sex takes up a lot of time that you are now free to use as you wish. Think about what you are, not what you aren't. You sound wonderful to me.
