As another ME/CFS patient I think what's needed is doctors that are trained to diagnose difficult to diagnose diseases, which GPs can refer to. Lives are being ruined first by these illnesses, then by a dysfunctional system which has not taken steps to meet the medical needs of these patients. There are many young patients with a serious life altering illness that just fall through the cracks of the system.

I'm surprised anyone would still make a diagnosis of conversion disorder. I thought Freud has been thoroughly discredited as quack.

How did you end up getting a real diagnosis?

It's hard to believe it took her such a short time compared to the others. How did they pretend to treat the conversion disorder by the way?
