Hello my fellow Wisconsinite. Little further north than you but not too much. Congrats on coming through with your surgery. I am writing this as I sit in a hospital myself receiving chemo for my cancer. I was a young healthy male if 34 till this summer. I should be okay but I may lose a leg because of the cancer. It kinda shocked me when they said tumor. I know in the doctors office I didn't have much of a reaction untill I was in my car on the way home kinda broke down. My question is how did you react when they said brain tumor? And another question my father had a brain tumor removed a few years about and his speach or trying to find the words he wanted to say was garbled for a while did you experience anything like that?

Some people criticize Wisconsin for being way to lenient. 1st offense is a municple. 2nd is a mis. And I think the 3rd just became a felony 4th is felony. I think with there dwi taskforces and the expansion of ride shares or cheaper alternatives to taxis has helped lower dwi here.

What are your feelings on check points vs. actively driving the streets. I know you answered your feelings on the checkpoints themselves already. Also have you ever had anyone pass the field sobriety portion of a stop but still blew or had a blood test over the legal amount?

As far as I know no city here has such an ordinance. I think I used the right term but its treated as a non crimminal offense state wide. Which has its upside and down side. We do have a lot of repeat offenders here. I think on the news I de a guy with his 11th just before I left my house.
