My mom's a cop so I know a lot about this already. One thing I noticed is that she ALWAYS sides with the police. When I talked to her about the Chavis Carter shooting, she was impressed by how determined he was to shoot himself. When I talked to her about how all 9 wounded bystanders in the empire state shootings were shot by police, she said it was their fault for living in New York.

My question is are all cops loyal to the point of insanity or will some actually admit that mistakes were made?

How do I approach a girl who's into power play? Should I be more aggressive than normal? The more freedom I give her the more she seems to withdraw.

I would say that about 2/3rds of posts have completely misleading titles, and I'm beginning to suspect people are upvoting without ever reading the source. Like today, one post said, "Fox news to cut out Karl Rove." Check the actual link and they're giving him less air time. Same BS happens everyday when people post blogs and opinion pieces. It's seriously worse than the news portion of Fox for accuracy.

I feel like people need training on how to read Wikipedia. The high traffic article are generally comprehensive and consistent, but when you get into more mundane and lower traffic articles, no one will be watching them and verifying changes that are made. Whenever I go on a Wikipedia'ing binge, I inevitably stumble upon someone's pet project that is full of forum style debate material and unreliable sources.

So Wikipedia only seems to be as good as the ratio between editors and pages. Yet that ratio is decreasing. The number of editors remains about the same, but the number of articles is still increasing. And will continue to increase indefinitely, as history progresses.

Does this mean that a Wikipedia with any shred of credibility is doomed?
