Need more cookies. But just crunch them up in your mouth - don't ever swallow them.

Why is the pupil black? Is it because the stuff inside the eye behind the hole/iris is black? Or is it because no light is bouncing back from beyond the hole for us to see a color other than black...as in the area behind the hole is all in complete shadow.

I'm getting pretty tired of the AMA self-promotion posts. The "artist" ones are even worse than the game ones.

Does Rotary Club have any connection with Jonas Salk or Salk Institute?

The troops are all going to vary. We were in an urban area and did a ton of camping, backpacking, and trips, etc. But we also did heavy community service and organizational projects. It was like leadership training for girls/young women...definitely NOT how to be a housewife. To directly compare what we had learned to boy scouts, we did a family trip with my brother's boy scout troop, and they had a troop-wide competition for tying a clove hitch fastest onto a tree but you couldn't get close to the tree to do it (pretend alligator pit)...2-person teams...my sister and I beat ALL the boy scouts. So, yeah, we had learned all the same camping, roughing it, and first aid skills as they had.

But I could easily see another troop focusing on more girlie-girl stuff.
