Is there any way to be alive in the US and not be required to purchase health care or be fined for being alive and not having purchased health care?

Follow up, you say "we need to fix it and make sure that politicians can't continue to play politics with your health care.", but is it possible to not have politicians involved in my health care at all? Wouldn't that fix that problem?

Worked as a cashier/customer service at a grocery that sold scratch offs. It was very common for someone to come in, by 20 tickets, scratch them quickly, win a few bucks here and there, use that to buy more tickets, and repeat with diminishing returns until it was all gone. I don't think anyone ever went away with the actual money if they scratch the tickets right there in the store.
