When I browse /r/standupshots it seems like some comics are testing material instead of live established one liners. How do you use reddit to refine your performance? What's the value of this community over other places you may have tried to promote yourself?

Ok, how is testing material on reddit different from testing it on an analog stage? What does /r/standupshots reactions influence in your stage act, if anything?

It's racist to frown? That is a crazy low bar. Racism is a very real problem and being that eager to label someone as such is detrimental to the cause. Calling someone a racist, justified or not, is antagonizing and intentionally trying to make enemies. Racism is about dividing people, and it's only cute is bringing them together. You are not doing anything to bring people together by throwing around such a strong, damaging label around so flippantly for someone making a sour face.
